musicRAIN 2.0 is a product of mediaRAIN, headquartered in Orem, Utah. mediaRAIN was established in 1999 as an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions for clients looking for advanced web application development, interactive media, creative and marketing services.
In 2003, a local client approached mediaRAIN and asked if the company could create an online sheet music viewer as a way to make the client's catalog of sheet music available to its members located throughout the world. After heavy research into the music industry and music-supported technologies, and much development, mediaRAIN completed the project.
Soon after embarking upon the project mediaRAIN recognized the need for a similar product specifically for sheet music publishers and distributors. mediaRAIN began commercial development and dedicated the same team of talented music software developers to the effort. In 2005, musicRAIN 2.0 was released as a tool allowing sheet music publishers and distributors to publish their music scores online and in a digital format for their customers to search, experience, and purchase on the fly. Already musicRAIN has received noteworthy praise and attention among those in both the music and technology industries.
